1. Consultation & Planning Your organizing journey begins with a FREE in-home consultation, lasting up to 30 minutes. We'll assess your space, discuss your goals, and take measurements. Afterward, you'll receive a proposal and contract. Once accepted and the retainer fee is submitted, we'll move forward.
2. Decluttering & Sorting We'll guide you through the process of deciding what stays, what goes, and how to categorize items. Our compassionate approach ensures the experience is stress-free and supportive.
3. Storage & System Setup We create practical, easy-to-maintain storage solutions tailored to your needs. If organizational products are needed, we'll order them on your behalf with your approval. The cost of materials will be included in your first session invoice if purchased by Unmix The Mess.
4. Organizing Sessions We offer flexible, personalized sessions to help you achieve your vision. While your presence is preferred for decision-making, it's not always required. If requested, we can label items to help maintain your newly organized space.
5. Trash & Junk Removal We will remove trash and smaller junk at no extra cost to the client. Larger items will require an additional fee or may need to be handled by another service, which we can provide suggestions for removal of these items.
6. Final Touches & Maintenance Tips We'll add the finishing touches to your space and provide helpful tips to maintain your newly organized home.
